Muslim Preacher Urges Followers To Claim 'Jihad Seeker's Allowance'

Anjem Choudary was secretly filmed mocking non-Muslims for working in 9-5 jobs their whole lives, and told followers that some revered Islamic figures had only ever worked one or two days a year.

“The rest of the year they were busy with jihad [holy war] and things like that,” he said. “People will say, ‘Ah, but you are not working’.

“But the normal situation is for you to take money from the kuffar [non-believers]."

“So we take Jihad Seeker’s Allowance. You need to get support.”

He went on to tell a 30-strong crowd: “We are going to take England — the Muslims are coming.”

Ridiculing the daily lives of UK workers, Choudary said: “You find people are busy working the whole of their life. They wake up at 7 o’clock. They go to work at 9 o’clock.

“They work for eight, nine hours a day. They come home at 7 o’clock, watch EastEnders, sleep, and they do that for 40 years of their life. That is called slavery.”

Choudary, a father-of-four, claims more than £25,000 a year in benefits, £8,000 more than the take-home pay of some soldiers fighting the Taliban in Afghanistan, according to the Sun, which covertly filmed the preacher at three meetings.

At another meeting in Slough infiltrated by the Sun, Choudary was filmed proclaiming that Islam was taking over Europe.

“Now we are taking over Birmingham and populating it,” he said.

“Brussels is 30 per cent, 40 per cent Muslim and Amsterdam. Bradford is 17 per cent Muslim.

“These people are like a tsunami going across Europe. And over here we’re just relaxing, taking over Bradford brother. The reality is changing.”

Choudary, who has been banned twice from running organisations under the Terrorism Act, told an audience at a community centre in Bethnal Green, East London, that David Cameron, Barack Obama and the leaders of Pakistan and Egypt were the devil (shaitan) and should be killed.

“What ultimately do we want to happen to them?” asked Choudary. “Maybe I’m the only one who wants the shaitan to be killed. The shaitan should be finished. There should be no shaitan.

“Democracy, freedom, secularism, the parliament, all the MPs and the Presidents, all the kuffar’s ideas, everything the people worship, we have to believe that they are bad and we have got to reject them.”

When later confronted about his filmed speeches, Choudary said: “Many people in the Muslim community are on Jobseeker’s Allowance and welfare benefits. As a joke I may say something about Jihad Seeker’s Allowance. Clearly it is not a Jihad Seeker’s Allowance.

“The word jihad means struggle. It does not necessarily mean fighting. I have never said to anyone to kill anyone in this country.”

For those of you, who are unfamiliar with Choudary, he is the firebrand radical imam, who was interviewed on ABC's “This Week” with Christiane Amanpour.  While Ms Amanpour neglected to confront him when he claimed: “one day the flag of Islam will fly over the White House”, she also conveniently forgot to inform the audience that Choudary has told the Royal Family "to convert or else" (and has threatened to decapitate the Queen, Prince Charles, Prince William and Prince Harry), has posted photographs of Buckingham Palace, Nelson's Column, St. Paul's, Westminster Abbey, The Tower, Windsor Castle and many other historic landmarks after Islamification. He has also said that all homosexuals will be executed when Shari'a becomes the Law of the Realm. You should also know that Choudary and his fellow radical imams danced in the streets following 09.11.01.

British Islamic supremacist, Anjem Choudary:
"Freedom and democracy must be destroyed and replaced with obedience to Allah."

One thing you can say about Choudary: he is honest.  Where some of his slicker coreligionists, who share his goals, dissemble about them.
Following are excerpts from an interview with Anjem Choudary, head of Islam4UK, which aired on Press TV on 3 February2010. The interview was held in English.
Choudary: "Our main objectives are to invite the societies in which we live to think about Islam as an alternative way of life, to command good and forbid evil wherever we are, and ultimately, as well, to establish the shari'a on state level - which is the caliphate system of governance - in order to be a beacon again in the world, an example of how people should live their lives."
Press TV:  "Let's talk about some of the statements coming out from your Islam4UK website. They were very incendiary, they've inflamed a big debate in the United Kingdom. One of the photos that you released showed, for example, the Buckingham Palace - the home of the British royal family - converted into a mosque. Is that your aim, and how did you expect the British public to react, by releasing photos like that?"
Anjem Choudary: One of our campaigns, in fact, was to invite Britain to adopt the shari'a as a alternative. Part and parcel of that was to give them an example of how Britain may look, had the shari'a been implemented. For example, under the shari'a, there is no monarchy system, so Buckingham Palace certainly would not be the home for the monarch who is in existence today, which is Queen Elizabeth II....
Muhammad said: "When you meet your enemies who are polytheists, invite them to three courses of action. If they respond to any one of these, you also accept it and withhold yourself from doing them any harm. Invite them to (accept) Islam; if they respond to you, accept it from them and desist from fighting against them....
If they refuse to accept Islam, demand from them the Jizya. If they agree to pay, accept it from them and hold off your hands. If they refuse to pay the tax, seek Allah's help and fight them. (Sahih Muslim 4294)."
So what might be coming next, after Choudary's invitation?
Choudary:  "I do believe, and as Muslims, we do believe, that there is a clash between two civilizations today. One civilisation is based upon Man - that believes that Man is sovereign, and they believe they have the right to legislate - and one civilisation that believes that sovereignty and supremacy belongs to God. The people in the past used to worship the idols which they used to make with their hands. Nowadays, people worship idols which are more intellectual - like democracy, liberalism, freedom, and so on. So these need to be destroyed as well, and replaced with worshipping and obeying Allah....
A perfect statement of what Islam inculcates. The fact that some Muslims deliberately seek not to convey this, but rather to confuse or distract unwary Infidels, should not be allowed to hide this nor should the fact that not all Muslims take what Islam inculcates completely to heart, and prefer not to speak of such matters because it is too disturbing for them to contemplate themselves, be comforting.  For many such people have shown themselves, when the Muslim collective or community grows powerful, to have a change of heart or of mind, or, possibly out of fear or filial piety, to throw in their lot with those who wish, and work for -- not necessarily through terrorism or qitaal -- what Anjem Choudary works for.
Tariq Ramadan, for example, shares exactly the same idea, the same opposition between obedience to God and obedience to what he, Tariq Ramadan, sees as the useless sublunar idols of "democracy" and "freedom" and so forth.  Tariq Ramadan is horrified with Anjem Choudary speaking in this way, but not for the reasons he would like you to think.
