Los Angeles: Occupied By Fruits, Flakes, and Nuts

…Continuation - The Occupation of Los Angeles - Part 4 - October 3, 2011 through October 13, 2011

Lydon LaRouches followers have been very well received by the "occupiers". Many of them are giving speeches from the main public address system set up on the steps to the south entrance of City Hall. The LaRouchies are also holding well attended lectures and "teach ins" throughout the week.

It wasn’t long ago that LaRouche’s followers showed up with their Obama/Hitler signs at a few Tea Parties around the country and the media went into conniptions, using the images to demonstrate the unhinged hatefulness of the Tea Party movement. Now that the very same LaRouchies are part of the Occupy movement, the media yawns and ignores them.

But sign making, rather than reading, seems to be the favorite pastime of the occupiers.

The Zeitgeist Movement (aka The Venus Project) is probably the most seductive Utopian word view / ideology since Communism. In fact it really is nothing more than Communism wrapped up in New Age language, promising a future free of money, stress and requiring very little work - a future where everyone is free to pursue art and music and non-procreative sex. It’s as if someone created an elaborate social philosophy based on the lyrics to John Lennon’s song, "Imagine".

The Zeitgeist movement is hugely popular in Europe and is quickly gaining adherents in the U.S.

And in case you were wondering if there is anything for the kids to do at Occupy L.A., there is a pumpkin decorating area where the little ones can have their pumpkin made up to look like an evil banker or a scary Republican.
