But, we need to spend more on education, more on health care, more on housing, more on renewable energy, more on green jobs, more on free cellphones and broadband, more on food oases, more on everything and, since we don't have the money, we will just have to tax, borrow, and print, which means we will be slaves to the Federal government, China, and the Federal Reserve, which is owned by -- wait for it -- the banks.

Obama & His Dog Whistles
“Up until the 1950s, American children yearned for adulthood. When their time came to be adults, they stepped into the role proudly, leaving childhood behind and taking up the mantles of responsibility, honor and dignity. They embraced and championed the ideals of those who came before them while valiantly tackling new ideas and problems that their families, communities and nation faced. Those days were long gone.
“Americans now shunned adulthood, preferring to remain in a state of perpetual adolescence. By failing to move forward with grace and dignity, they left a gaping hole in American society. They treated relationships like disposable lighters, tossing marriages away when they ran out of gas. Children were left without families, and even worse, they were left without adults who could be role models of responsible behavior.”
What we are seeing in Zuccotti Park in Manhattan, in the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum and on streets across the country are the Boomers, their children, and grandchildren acting their age - children all. Boomers, who never grew up, and, consequently, never forced their children to either. Don't get me wrong. I understand that times are tough, but does anyone actually believe that they have it harder than anyone else in the history of mankind? Really? You are worse off today than the Jews were in the Kraków Ghetto? The Armenians slaughtered by Turks? The hundred million massacred in the name of collectivism? The slaves on plantations in the South or anywhere? Really? Are you so special? Are you so narcissistic?
Unemployment is disastrously high, but bigger government will not solve that. It certainly hasn't in Europe where 10% unemployment is non-recession level. Further, many of the young people protesting are either in college or have graduated with at least one degree. While the unemployment rate is 9.1%, it is only 4.2% for those with a bachelor's degree. Sure, maybe, you won't get that $100,000 starter job that was standard several years ago, but you can get a job that pays you enough to live and start building your career. Stop bitching! Stop whining! Stop complaining! Put down the pot! Take off the marching boots or bedroom slippers and put on your work shoes!
I understand that many people my age do not know what it is like to have lived through a recession. They probably have forgotten the Democrats' hysteria over the last "Greatest Recession Since The Great Depression" in July 1990 – March 1991 because they were so young. They probably don't realise that life isn't always fun times. Life isn't always about the next iPhone or the next rung on the 6 or 7-figure rung ladder. Sometimes, life is hard. The easy days in life do not make you. The hard days do. Stop being a child. Recognise that life is hard. What doesn't kill you, DOES make you stronger.
Anyway, let's continue with their demands...
