Depraved And Repulsive: Obama's Fundraising Off Of 28 Dead Bodies In Newtown

What do you do when you are the President of the United States and 20 first graders and 6 teachers have been murdered in an elementary school?

If you are Barack Obama, you do what you do best.  You raise money for your "campaign"!!!

Campaign for what, you ask?  Who knows?  He has $14.4 million cash on hand from the 2012 campaign.

It's not a great shock that the man, who never stops campaigning and fundraising, still thinks that it is campaign time and everything is all about him, but, seriously, Newtown is neither a campaign issue nor is it in the least bit about Barack Obama.  Yet, David Axelrod thinks that you soooooo much want to hear Obama's speech from the memorial that he is sending you an email with a link...and not one, but two buttons on which to click so that you can donate.  You'll note that the donations are not for the Red Cross, the Sandy Hook Memorial Fund or anything so boring as that.  No, no, no!  They are for The Lightbringer of All That Is Holy, Barack Obama, so don't let the page dedication fool you.

Here's the email:

Friend --

Our hearts broke on Friday as we learned of the tragic and senseless deaths of 20 children and six adults at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut.

Last night, President Obama addressed the families of Newtown, offering the love and prayers of a nation, and vowing to use whatever power his office holds to protect our children from such unthinkable acts of violence.

He spoke from the heart -- as a president and a parent. Watch this speech:

As we reflect on the lives lost last week, we must also, as the President urged, consider how each of us can play a part in making our country worthy of the memory of those little children.

I hope you and the ones you love have a happy and safe holiday.

Thanks,

David

As Jeryl Bier wrote, “as I clicked on the link provided, I thought to myself, maybe once, just once, the Obama team will play against type and surprise me, given the scope of this horrific tragedy.  But it was not to be:

Not one, but two buttons - two opportunities to donate... to the Obama campaign.  Not to the Red Cross, or to a memorial fund for the children and adults killed in Newtown.  How hard would it have been to shift the focus, disable the buttons, for just one email, just one blog post?  But the show must go on..."

The man is so cold.

Goodbye Blue Sky - Pink Floyd

[Childs voice:]
Look, Mummy. There's an airplane up in the sky.

Oooooooo ooo ooo ooooh
Did you see the frightened ones
Did you hear the falling bombs
Did you ever wonder
Why we had to run for shelter
When the promise of a brave new world
Unfurled beneath a clear blue sky
Oooooooo ooo ooooo oooh
Did you see the frightened ones
Did you hear the falling bombs
The flames are all long gone
But the pain lingers on
Goodbye blue sky
Goodbye blue sky
Goodbye
Goodbye
